TEBAR A.Ş. Expanded Its Accreditation Scope!
TEBAR Test Belgelendirme Araştırma ve Geliştirme Tic. A.Ş. (TEBAR), Türkiye's accredited insulation laboratory with the most extensive scope, reinforced this position through additional investment in 2010 in line with the industry's needs and demands. Following the Surveillance and Scope Extension Assessment under TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 carried out by TÜRKAK and the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, TEBAR A.Ş. doubled its accreditation scope.
In addition to tests on waterproofing sheets for determining linear dimensions such as width, length, breadth and thickness; basic properties such as watertightness at low or high pressure and resistance to water penetration; and fire behaviour such as external fire exposure and reaction to fire, the new investments added important properties to the accreditation scope, including resistance to flow at elevated temperature, tensile properties, resistance to tearing by a nail, and resistance to peeling of joints.
Through its infrastructure investments, TEBAR A.Ş. added cementitious, dispersion and reaction resin ceramic tile adhesives, as well as external thermal insulation system components, to its service portfolio. The new accreditation scope includes tests to determine slip, wettability and open time for ceramic tile adhesives, as well as adhesion strength. Other tests added to the accreditation scope include the penetration and impact resistance of external thermal insulation systems and determination of the tensile properties of reinforcing mesh used as a system component.
TEBAR A.Ş. also added building materials with medium and low thermal resistance to its thermal conductivity measurements for insulation materials.
Under accreditation number AB-0302-T, TEBAR A.Ş. provides services for:
