TEBAR A.Ş., Türkiye's Accredited Insulation Laboratory with the Most Extensive Scope, Continues to Expand Its Accreditation Scope!
"Türkiye's accredited insulation laboratory with the most extensive scope", TEBAR Test Belgelendirme Araştırma ve Geliştirme Tic. A.Ş., added technical insulation materials to its service scope in 2012 in line with the industry's needs and demands, following thermal insulation materials, external thermal insulation systems, waterproofing sheets, ceramic tile adhesives and certain roof coverings. The relevant assessments were successfully carried out by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) on 19–20 June 2012 and 03 July 2012.
Since 2009, TEBAR A.Ş. has carried out numerous physical tests for thermal insulation materials in board and mat form, including thermal conductivity, compressive strength, reaction to fire, water absorption and dimensional stability. Following its scope extension work, it began offering tests for pipe-form products covering general characteristics such as dimensions including inside/outside diameter, circumference, wall thickness and length, deviation from squareness, linearity and apparent density, as well as basic properties such as water vapour transmission, water absorption, reaction to fire and thermal conductivity. The equipment infrastructure used by TEBAR A.Ş. to measure the thermal conductivity of pipe-form thermal insulation materials is the first and only one of its kind in Türkiye.

The greatest difference between thermal insulation materials used in buildings and those used in installations is the temperature to which the products are exposed. This difference requires thermal conductivity measurements to be made at different temperatures. In this context, TEBAR A.Ş.'s thermal conductivity measurements from -20°C to 400°C meet an important need of our industry. You can obtain detailed information about TEBAR A.Ş., which will expand its service area in line with the industry's needs in the coming periods, at its official website, http://www.tebar.com.tr.
